September 15 is celebrated as Engineer’s Day in India, Sri Lanka and Tanzania in memory of Bharat Ratna recipient and engineering pioneer of India Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, popularly known as Sir MV. A civil engineer and statesman, Mr. Visvesvaraya was born on this day in 1861 in Muddenahalli village (in present-day Karnataka).

“At its heart, engineering is about using science to find creative, practical solutions. It is a noble profession.”

Problem-solving is essential to engineering. Engineers are constantly on the lookout for a better way to do things.

Thus STEAMEDU fosters and mentors students to become innovators and entrepreneurs by finding creative solutions to the problems of society through an amalgamated knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics through experimentation leading them to be part of the development of society, country, and the world along with self-development.
